I believe that each of us has a call upon our lives. In fact, I would presume that as we mature in the Lord, we have different calls at different times. I have come to the realization that one of my purposes for the cause of the Lord is to compile a book of individual stories that detail one moment in a person’s life that God moved in a powerful way.
The name of the book is, appropriately, When God Moved. I am asking for submissions to be included in this book. The rules are very simple. There are none. Well, I take that back. There is one. The story you tell must be about one specific moment in your life. That one time when you can say you are sure, positive, without a doubt; God did it. Whatever it was. Maybe a healing, a deliverance, salvation, a prayer answered, a miracle, etc. It can be a couple of sentences, a paragraph, or a few pages. Whatever it takes to tell your story.
My goal for this book is very simple.
Have you ever shared a testimony with a non-believer and have that person smile and nod their head, and you know they just don’t get it? Or they come back with something along the lines, “coincidence,” or “karma,” or they try to give some other explanation for what they have just heard? That person is the target of this book.
The goal is to compile powerful God moments; from a broad spectrum of people, in the hopes that one person might read one of those stories and come to the realization that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
I hope you will consider submitting a story for this book. Each member of your family is more than welcome to send their own. If you would like your name associated with it that’s great, and a more powerful testimony, but if, for whatever reason, you feel the need to remain anonymous that’s okay too.
